Preparation
SB 2180 properly diluted is safe on most surfaces that can be cleaned with water. Concentrated product may reduce gloss on polished marble.
Dilution and Coverage
Dilution:
5 to 10 parts water to 1 part product for heavy-duty
20 to 40 parts water to 1 part product for medium
50 to 100 parts water to 1 part product for light duty Test application is always recommended to determine appropriate dilution rate.
Coverage:
Dependent upon substrate and other conditions
Application
When properly diluted, this product can be used on most substrates not damaged by water. For non-porous surfaces simply apply diluted solution and use mild agitation or brushing to release stubborn soils if necessary and rinse off after a 5 to 15 minutes dwell time. Product diluted in the 50-100 range can be used for cleaning and degreasing VCT and painted flooring. For porous concrete and masonry surfaces, pre-wet the surface with water to both cool the surface and keep the cleaner from soaking in. Lightly scrub heavier soiled areas and rinse with fresh water. For exterior surfaces, pressure washing is recommended but not always required.
SB 2180 is mildly alkaline and, like most detergents, it is slightly irritating to the eyes and skin. Cleaning personnel should wear eye protection and rubber gloves. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with cool water for 15 minutes and get medical attention if irritation persists. Wash skin after contact and launder clothing before reuse. See SDS for detailed information.
